This group is for members of the Nashville Photography Club to communicate, ask photography questions, link to photos you want to share and continue the education between meetings, etc. Through that process we get to know each other better and learn a lot about photography.

Nature Group

The Nature Focus Group is led by herpetologist/biologist Lisa Powers. Join Lisa and the Nashville Photography Club on the many club outings to observe and photograph captive and wild creatures, cultivated and native wildflowers and plants, and the beautiful scenery Tennessee has to offer. We have and will visit many of the Parks, Greenways and Natural Areas that adorn our middle Tennessee region. We also frequent the Nashville Zoo, The Discovery Center at Murfree Spring and may plan a visit to the Tennessee Aquarium. This group is open to all members and all field trips are handicapped accessible and friendly to all ages.

Adventure  and Hiking Group

Why Hiking?  This does not diminish the other forms of nature photography from your back yard and flower pots to city parks & the zoo. And we realize that some people are not physically able to participate in sometimes strenuous hikes. That is why Lisa Powers leads a separate Nature Focus Group for less strenuous nature experiences for photography. If hiking is not your thing, check out her page and try one of those excursions.
